Alana completed her Bachelors of Science at Montana State University in Applied Psychology in 2015. She then earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University in September of 2019. She provides counseling to help clients achieve their personal goals and heal from challenging life events where they feel stuck and unsure how to move forward. Currently, she has a private practice and works with the nCenter, LLC in Bozeman, MT.
She is trained as an Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and uses EFT with couples to help them deepen and heal their relationship. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which she employs to assist clients in processing difficult issues and in improving relationships with themselves and significant others. Her approach to therapy is guided by natural compassion for others and the want to help other heal through adverse life experiences.
Alana is from a small town on the hi-line in Northern Montana. She graduated from Havre High School and moved to Bozeman to work full time in business management and financial planning. Through those experiences, she realized that she wanted to help people on a more cellular level and deepen the healing people needed in their lives. Alana has helped clients overcome struggles that have been long engrained into their daily functions. With that realization, she decided to attend Montana State University to study applied psychology going on to get her Masters with Clinical Mental Health.
Alana lives in Bozeman, MT with her grumble of pugs and enjoys hiking, dinner with friends, and traveling. She also runs a pug rescue in Bozeman.
